Op uitnodiging van Mira Van Kuijeren en Ramon Verberne en met dank aan een subsidie van de gemeente Utrecht, zijn mijn straatpoëziewandeling en straatpoëziefietstocht te volgen in de gratis app VERS.

De poëzie-app VERS is gemaakt door Stichting Interactive Culture (oftewel Mira en Ramon) en bevat heel veel poëzielocaties. Nu zijn ook mijn straatpoëziewandelroute en -fietsroute aan de app toegevoegd. Mét de straatgedichten die je tegenkomt en toelichting door mij ingesproken in audiovorm, in het Nederlands en Engels. Daarmee kan iedereen die dat wil – ook in Coronatijden – de Utrechtse straatpoëzie bewonderen en mijn weetjes over die gedichten en poëzie buiten het boek erbij horen.

Enkele tips:

• Je kunt de app VERS van Stichting Interactive Culture gratis downloaden op je smartphone. Het is handig om dit te doen wanneer je WiFi hebt.
• Neem oortjes of een koptelefoon mee tijdens de route.
• In de app staan heel veel symbooltjes. Enkel de S-symbooltjes en de Engelse vlag-symbooltjes horen bij mijn wandelroute en fietsroute.
• Je moet naar een S-symbooltje of Engelse vlag-symbooltje toe lopen of fietsen om de locatie te ‘unlocken‘ en mijn verhaal bij het straatgedicht te kunnen beluisteren.
• De straatpoëziewandeling begint en eindigt op het Domplein.
• De straatpoëziefietstocht begint en eindigt op het Jaarbeursplein.
• Op de beginlocatie kun je naar een inleiding luisteren.
• Daarna kun je de route afgaan in de volgorde die ik bedacht heb, door de nummertjes in de beschrijving bij ieder symbooltje te volgen, of je kunt zelf je route bepalen.
• Op beide routes kun je pauze nemen bij De Utrechtse Boekenbar (Westerkade 2) (indien die open is).
• Beide routes duren ongeveer 2 uur.

By invitation of Mira Van Kuijeren and Ramon Verberne and thanks to a subsidy from the municipality of Utrecht, my street poetry walk and street poetry bike ride can be followed in the free smartphone app VERS.

The poetry app VERS was created by the Interactive Culture Foundation (Mira and Ramon) and contains lots of poetry locations. My street poetry walking route and street poetry cycling route have now also been added to the app. I recorded my stories about the street poems in Dutch and English, which you can listen to in the app. This means that anyone who wants to – also during Covid – can admire Utrecht’s street poetry and my stories about those poems for free, at any given time.

A few tips:

• You can download the VERS app by the Interactive Culture Foundation for free on your smartphone. It’s a good idea to do this when you have WiFi.
• Please bring headphones with you.
• There are many symbols to be found in the app. Only the S-symbols and the English flag symbols are part of my street poetry walking route and street poetry cycling route.
• Please move towards an S-symbol or English flag symbol to ‘unlock‘ the location and listen to my story about the street poem.
• The street poetry walking route starts and ends at Domplein.
• The street poetry cycling route starts and ends at Jaarbeursplein.
• At the start location you can listen to an introduction.
• Then you can follow the route in the order I came up with, by following the numbers in the description of each symbol, or you can choose your own route.
• On both routes you can take a break at De Utrechtse Boekenbar  (Westerkade 2) (if it is open).
• Both routes take approximately 2 hours.
